Refrigeration system warranties are generally 12 months duration. All aspects of the refrigeration system such as fans, compressor, evaporator, condenser, control system and brackets are covered. Some aspects of your warranty may be conditional in that they relate to warranties provided to us by our suppliers. Any such aspects will be pointed out in the warranty document.

Some aspects of warranty coverage are part and parcel of overall vehicle maintenance. Such things as - compressor belt tension, compressor mount bracket fastenings, idler pulleys and fan operation, hinges, latches, seals and body joints - are items that should be checked during normal mechanical services. This will be mentioned in your warranty document. Often, warranty and after warranty problems can be avoided through scheduled observation and checking as per our recommendations.

Naturally, damage occurring from impact, improper use, lack of maintenance or unauthorized repair work will not be covered under our warranty.

Should the need arise for warranty work to be carried out on your Acme unit, we will arrange for it to be done at the earliest opportunity by our nominated service agent closest to you. Sometimes special arrangements will be made to reduce inconvenience to you.

At no cost to you, we now include a “Honeymoon Period” that provides you with discounted parts in the three months following the warranty expiry date. This is incorporated with standard recommended services at standard service prices. All details are included in your warranty documents.
